Macky.ai — Turning consulting playbooks into a product. Macky.ai started with a clear gap: most small and mid-sized businesses need real consulting help, but traditional consulting is often priced for larger companies. The goal was to translate professional consulting workflows into a product: something SMEs can use confidently, without learning “how to talk to AI.”

Codifying expertise into repeatable deliverables

The core challenge wasn’t generating text. It was designing a system that can produce consistently useful outputs across dozens of business contexts—HR, operations, strategy, marketing, finance, and IT—without relying on users to write perfect prompts.

We built Macky.ai around structured consulting deliverables: the kinds of outputs a consultant would normally create after a short intake. That meant building a category-based approach where each domain has a clear purpose, a consistent interaction pattern, and outputs that feel actionable—not exploratory.

A prompt-free experience (by design)

Instead of asking users to “figure out the question,” Macky.ai guides them through no more than three targeted questions. Under the hood, each category uses pre-engineered prompt logic that converts those inputs into professional-grade documents: job descriptions, business processes, marketing plans, and financial analyses tailored to the user’s situation.

The result is an experience that behaves more like a junior consultant with a strong framework—structured, specific, and easy to review—rather than a blank chat box.

Building a platform that can run a business

To make Macky.ai viable as a revenue-generating product, we developed the operational foundation around the AI layer: user and team management, subscription handling, administrative controls, and integrations with third-party business tools.

We also implemented usage and model monitoring so stakeholders can track consumption, maintain quality, and keep the platform reliable as it scales across categories and customer types.

Results: a product that grew with its users

Macky.ai launched as the first AI business consulting platform from the Middle East, with adoption across GCC SMEs and 30% month-over-month growth. At launch it supported 55+ business categories, included 52 engineered prompts, and attracted 2,000+ monthly visits—then continued evolving through multiple versions as feedback and the underlying database expanded.

What’s next

Macky.ai 2.0 builds on the same thesis—consulting, productized—with expanded capabilities, improved models, and deeper integrations. The focus remains unchanged: make professional guidance accessible, structured, and dependable, so SMEs can spend less time wrestling with inputs and more time acting on outcomes.
